The Nauru Court of Appeal is the final appellate court of the Republic of Nauru. The Court is headed by the President of the Nauru Court of Appeal pursuant to Article 54(4) of the Constitution of the Republic of Nauru.

Constitutional Basis: The appellate court is headed by the President of the Nauru Court of Appeal pursuant to Article 54(4) of the Constitution of the Republic of Nauru.
Jurisdiction: The Nauru Court of Appeal has power and jurisdiction to hear and determine all appeals which lie to the Court by virtue of the Constitution of the Republic of Nauru, the Nauru Court of Appeal Act 2018, or any other written law.
Sessions of the Court: A session of the Court of Appeal shall be notified in the Gazette and shall be convened at least once a year. The Court may also sit in the Republic from time to time as the President of the Court of Appeal may deem necessary.n
Legislative provisions were also enacted under the Nauru Court of Appeal (Amendment) Act 2020 to accommodate proceedings through audio-visual link.
Composition of the Court: A sitting of the Court of Appeal is duly constituted if it consists of not less than three Justices of Appeal including the President of the Court of Appeal. The Justices of Appeal are appointed by the President of the Republic of Nauru in consultation with the Chief Justice.
